Jim Lilley

President, Broker in Charge

Born and raised in North Carolina, Jim Lilley is a 1972 graduate of UNC Chapel Hill with a BA in Political Science and History. He taught high school history for 7 years in North Hampton County and was also the basketball coach – receiving the Coach of the Year award in 1972. He entered into the world of Real Estate in 1982 forming Jim Lilley Properties and has been successfully working as a Broker and Property Manager in the Chapel Hill market ever since. In 2002 he combined forces with Dunlap Real Estate to form Dunlap Lilley Properties. Jim is an active member of the Rotary Club and Association of Realtors. He enjoys traveling, antiquing and fishing in his spare time.

Pam Zeman

Will Duncan

Will, another UNC alum and NC native, has been working with DLP since 2001. He has served in almost every capacity for the company, including accounting, marketing and management. Some of his responsibilities include managing the office, overseeing property maintenance and communications, coordinating our marketing and media campaigns and developing new business. Will also maintains an active Broker’s license and is a member of the Orange Chatham Association of Realtors. When he’s not working, Will enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, painting, playing guitar and listening to all types of music, especially Jazz. Beth Akers

Originally hailing from Pennsylvania, Beth Akers relocated to Chapel Hill from Naples, FL in 2009 to enjoy all the Triangle area has to offer. From great schools to employment opportunities, the Triangle area is a great place to be. In fact, this is why Beth decided to call Chapel Hill her home.  Beth graduated from North Carolina Central University, Summa Cum laude, with a Bachelor’s in Political Science. She has also spent many years working in the real estate industry, including working previously as a leasing administrator and now as the accounting manager for DLP.  It is during her time spent working at our firm that she developed a passion for the real estate industry. With this passion, she decided to take her real estate career to the next level becoming a Real Estate Broker. Beth is a proud team member at Dunlap Lilley Properties and looks forward to assisting you with listing or purchasing real estate in Chapel Hill or the surrounding area!
